"The Size of Golf Balls!" - Experience a hailstorm "Things Are Not Looking Up" - Experience a rat infestation But there are a few more interesting ones: Rest assured, if there are more map tiles in an area you can't build on, modders will find a way to unlock those too.Īmong the rest of the achievements there are plenty of routine-sounding accomplishments, like for building an airport, creating a district, having various numbers of citizens and happiness ratings, unlocking every building in the game, and things like that. Based on the name of the achievement it sounds to me like that's the entire map, and the amount of points awarded makes it seem like it's a late-game sort of cheevo. I've been having a lot of fun with this map.One of those achievements, "Everything the Light Touches," awards 50 points for unlocking 150 map tiles in a single city. So there is plenty of space to set up a seaport for goods no matter which side of the map you expand to. The map's Forrest resources are great! You'll have open access to shipping lanes on the bottom and right side of the map. Other than that, the map has great terrain and the city won't look like a big square in the middle of nowhere. I moved one tile up and the one to the right so i could dump the waste in the lake (Didn't have water treatment plant unlocked yet). So, if you just expand towards the beaches you may be spending a lot of time cleaning up that pollution because the waste will flow towards the open water. The only slightly annoying problem is that there is only one area to put water waste in the first tile.

In the first tile you have access to a decent size Forrest and has pockets of strong wind for wind turbines. Currently building on this map and it has everything you need to sustain your city as it grows. The Diamond Coast map has a lot to offer.
